On 5 November 2024, the LBA once again drew attention to the importance of ensuring tamper-evident packaging. This report is available under LBA Current Information. The core of the LBA notice is that packaging is tamper-evident if the introduction of prohibited items is impossible or if tampering with the shipment is immediately apparent. For the use of Inka pallets, this means that they must be fully loaded and strapped, or that tampering must be impossible or detectable by using suitable outer packaging (see image).

Pressed wood pallets have a closed underside. This makes the INKA pallet the ideal air freight pallet. Subsequent tampering from below is virtually impossible.
